1. How is your experience with Tarot? Has it been accurate in your life?
2. If you get a reading today, aren’t you supposed to draw the exact same cards tomorrow and the day after till your "destiny" has been fulfilled?
Thanks

1. Tarot has been unbelievably accurate in my life. Also, in most people’s lives that have stuck with learning Tarot–years and years of practice and patience–they get accurate results. Otherwise, why would those that have been using the cards for many years still continue to use them if they aren’t accurate?
2. No, you don’t always have to draw the same cards. In fact, it’s not great to ask the same question repeatedly without allowing time to go by. For example, most suggest putting a time frame on your question (i.e. 6 months) and you can ask the same question three months down the road, but it’s terrible to keep asking the same questions, and they shouldn’t be asked on a daily basis for the same question. However, you will notice that certain cards keep popping up, and other cards that you’ve not gotten before will have usually a similar type of meaning.
Within my experience, I have found many truths. As far as your second question…no, you misunderstood. Everything you do, decision you make can change an outcome; thus, your "destiny". These decisions can be as simple as choosing to walk across instead of call or going to bed early or stay up…every decision you make will effect your future.
The tarot gives us confirmation and possibilities. The tarot can give advice, but it is your choices and driving forces that have true effect.
I hope you find the answer you seek and peace in your heart.
Blessed Be.
I’ve done it for myself, and going through them one at a time makes sense for my life.
There’s a sort of intuition you develop when you practice readings. I have gotten a reading from an expert and she kinda helped me make sense of some of my problems.
I don’t think there’s anything magical happening with them, just an intuition you develop as you use them. Also the fact that you talk to the reader as you go.
So nothing magical. Using images to connect archetypes and how the images are interpreted.
Accuracy? I can’t really say.
I really don’t approve of people who prey on others though and make them buy crap or tell them their hexed and need a donation to unhex em. In the least just take the reading with a pinch of salt. If you think they’re way off, they’re way off. Move on with your life.
I got my first tarot deck when I was twelve. My mother’s family emmigrated from the Ukraine where they were romany. In my family it has always been kind of a party trick, it is something you do to entertain people. But my aunt Lilian has been doing readings for her friends for years, she is in her 80’s now, and her friends swear by them. I have been raised to see them as a facet for entertainment but sometimes they can be quite accurate. Then again if you make a statement broad enough it will be accurate in retrospect.
Personally I use them more as a meditation medium. I draw a card each morning and concentrate on it and what it means and think about how I should apply these qualities to my life.
And no the readings aren’t supposed to be the same everyday. That is just something they do in movies to make it seem more mystical than it really is. If you really do believe in their power think of it like this, everyday you are changing so everyday your destiny would change a little too.
I hope I helped at least a little.
1. Tarot readings have always been pretty accurate in my case- I do them occasionally to myself.
2. No, time constantly changes. You constantly change- you have the ability to change your path because nothing is set in stone. Tarot cards only show possible outcomes.
